My friends Armin, George and I are hosting the first Beaver Brook School on Aug 25th through Sep 2nd, an intensive 8-day course to learn how to design and construct a building.
Ten applicants will be invited to stay in bunkhouse, spend long days in workshops and at the job site, and walk away with construction know-how. You will also have built a building.

The police search a man’s backpack as he tries to ride through the locked-down town of Watertown, MA. Being a citizen on the streets is a suspicious activity in Police State USA. Simply living in Boston and travelling outdoors warrants arbitrary searches of your person and property, and you must produce proper identification to prove your innocence.
Fourth Amendment? Rights against unreasonable search and seizure? Reasonable suspicion of the commission of a crime? These are no longer relevant.
